Apron (optional)

For ties: Row 1: Ch 35, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Fasten off. Repeat for second tie.
Sew ties to top corners of apron.
Glasses (optional)
With black yarn or thin wire: Make two small circles for lenses (you can crochet around a small circular object for shape). Connect with a small bridge and add temple arms.
Assembly
- Sew head to body.
- Attach arms to sides of body at approximately round 8-9.
- Attach legs to bottom of body.
- Sew hair cap onto head, positioning as desired.
- Create a bun by making a pom-pom with grey/white yarn and attaching to back of hair cap.
- Add facial features:
- If not using safety eyes, embroider eyes with black yarn
- Add small pink circles for cheeks with pink yarn
- Embroider a small smile with black yarn
- Add glasses if desired
- Attach apron to front of body.
- Add any additional details like a small crocheted purse, glasses chain, etc.
Embellishments (optional)
- Mini crochet needles: make with thin wire or toothpicks wrapped with yarn
- Tiny granny square: make a miniature granny square to put in her hands
- Mini purse: crochet a small rectangle, fold and sew sides
- Tiny shawl: crochet a small triangular shawl for her shoulders
Notes
- Adjust hook size as needed to achieve tight stitches that won't allow stuffing to show through
- If you prefer a larger or smaller granny, you can adjust by using larger/smaller hook and yarn
